Staffing in the School

There are ten mainstream classes in the school from Junior Infants to sixth class. There was a class catering for children with Special needs. There are learning support and resource teachers in the school. The staff, at present, comprises of 17 teachers.

The school also has the services of a Home School Community Liaison Teacher shared with the Mercy Primary School.There is also a School Completion Programe in operation in the school.

The school also has the services of 4 Special Needs Assistants, a secretary, caretaker and two cleaners.

Board of Management

The school is run by the Board of Management in consultation with the Principal. St. Brendan’s is extremely lucky to have a very supportive, committed and active board. The present term of office began in November 2007 and will extend for four years. The board meets every six weeks.
