Parents’ Association

What We Do

The parents council was set up to encourage greater interaction between the parents and the school management. The aims of the council are to

  • encourage greater communication between parents/guardians and the school.
  • encourage parental involvement in the education of the children
  • assist in providing for the needs of the school that are not addressed by state funds through fundraising activities.

Each year the AGM is held in October and a new committee is elected with the officers staying in their roles for two years. All parents are encouraged to serve on the council for at least one year that their child is in the school. The committee also organises events during the school year.
